Robert Quinn Racing is looking for an experienced Horse Trainer to join our business.

We are a high performing Racing Secure at Warwick Farm in Sydney. We specialize in sourcing young and proven Racehorses from Australia and Overseas to compete at the highest level in Races across Australia. We grow and nurture young horses from a young age right through its racing career.

Benefits
Salary $80,000 to $85,000 pa depending on experience.
Full time position (38 hours pw)

Task & responsibilities

The position of Horse Trainer is of vital importance to our business. Having a full time qualified Horse Trainer with valuable experience of the thoroughbred industry will help us maintain the high standards we need to perform at to compete at a high level in Australian Horse Racing. Having a person of high standard is also vital to be able to trust their expertise in handling and overseeing the racing career of valuable Racehorses.




Daily care of horses in the stables.
Preparing the daily feeds and diets of each horse.
Preparing and watching the horses in daily exercise.
Swimming Horses, Handling Horses on the Treadmill.
Delegating to staff members.
Taking charge of the stables in the absence of the trainer.

Qualification & experience

Certificate III or equivalent international qualification, or in the absence of qualification a minimum of three years qualified experience.
