We are seeking three experienced Senior Software Engineers to support a major Federal Government cloud transformation initiative. The successful Senior Software Engineers will work within Agile delivery teams to design, develop and deploy secure cloud-native applications supporting a large-scale intelligence and surveillance platform. You will be offered a long-term contract through to June 2027 with the view to extend for a further 2 years and receive a rewarding hourly rate.

The successful Senior Software Engineers will be responsible for, but not limited to:
Designing &developing; cloud-native applications, APIs, microservices & integration services using AWS technologies
Building serverless and containerised solutions leveraging services such as Lambda, ECS, EKS and API Gateway
Developing Infrastructure as Code solutions using Terraform, CloudFormation and AWS CDK
Implementing CI/CD pipelines, automated testing and deployment processes across cloud environments
Providing technical leadership,



architecture input and support for complex cloud-based solutions

The successful Senior Software Engineers will have:
Strong experience developing cloud-native applications using Java, Python, Node.js or TypeScript
Hands-on experience with AWS services, serverless architectures and container platforms
Experience with Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
Proven experience designing scalable, secure and resilient software solutions within Agile settings
AWS Developer, AWS Solutions Architect or related cloud certifications highly regarded

This is a outstanding opportunity to work with a leading Federal Government Department and contribute to a nationally significant Senior Software Engineer program leveraging contemporary AWS cloud technologies. The successful Senior Software Engineers will be offered a long-term contract through to June 2027 with the view to be extended for a further 2 years and receive a rewarding hourly rate.
