Maxwell Recruitment & Training is currently seeking an experienced Mechanical TA to join a well-established engineering and maintenance business based in Rydalmere.

About the Role

Your responsibilities will include:
Assisting Mechanical and Electrical Fitters with repairs and overhauls.
Stripping, dismantling and reassembling industrial equipment.
Assisting with electric motors, pumps and other rotating equipment.
Cleaning, inspecting and preparing components for repair and assembly.
Assisting with bearings, shafts, seals and other mechanical components.
Operating gantry/overhead cranes where appropriately licensed.

About You

To be considered, you will ideally have:
Previous experience as a Mechanical Trade Assistant, Electrical Trade Assistant or Workshop TA.




Valuable mechanical aptitude and confidence using hand and power tools.
Experience working around industrial machinery or rotating equipment highly regarded.
Some electrical knowledge or previous exposure to electrical work would be advantageous.
Experience working alongside Fitters and Electricians.
Solid commitment to workplace safety.
Gantry/Overhead Crane ticket highly regarded.
