We are seeking an experienced Senior Medical Receptionist / 2IC to join our busy and growing GP & Skin Clinic in Brisbane South. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly capable skilled ready to step into a leadership support role and assist in the day-to-day operations of a energetic medical practice.

About the Role
As Senior Medical Receptionist / 2IC,
you will play a key role in supporting the Practice Manager and ensuring smooth daily operations. You will lead by example, helping deliver high-quality, efficient, and patient-focused service.
Key Responsibilities
Manage appointment bookings for GPs and allied health professionals
Support practice growth through effective scheduling and patient flow
Assist with accreditation processes and compliance requirements
Oversee Medicare, DVA, WorkCover, and private billing processes
Communicate effectively with the Practice Manager and wider team
Support administrative operations and ensure tasks are completed efficiently
Utilise systems such as Cubiko and PENCAT (highly regarded)
Essential Criteria
Previous experience in general practice (essential)
Proficiency in Best Practice software (Essential)
Strong knowledge of Medicare, billing, rejections, and private health claims
Excellent teamwork and communication skills
Understanding of accreditation standards and processes
Strong organizational skills and business acumen
Experience implementing policies and procedures
Experience with Cubiko, PENCAT, or similar benchmarking tools is highly desirable.
