Alan Wong & Associates Due to a rapid growth, a medium-sized accounting and business advisory services practice located in Indooroopilly is now recruiting one tax accountant with at least 2 to 4 years previous experience to join the team in full time roles.

Task & responsibilities Your Roles would cover the following (but are not limited to):
Preparation of income Tax Returns and Financial Statements (Individual, Company, Trust, Partnership and SMSF)
Preparation of Activity Statements, FBT Returns and Payroll Tax Returns
Clients contact to ensure their taxation obligations are met
Bookkeeping and data entries
Day to day administrative works and payroll
Liaise and contact with relevant taxation and government authorities

Qualification & experience
Tertiary Accounting Qualifications




CA/CPA qualified or studying towards Professional Accounting Body
Experience in the preparation of Financial Statements and Tax Returns min 2 years
Excellent knowledge of accounting and taxation legislations
Excellent XERO/MYOB/BGL knowledge
Experience dealing with medical professionals is advantageous

The successful candidate will demonstrate outstanding enthusiasm and genuine interest in Taxation & Accounting, attention to details, commitment and desire to learn. Good presentation and excellent communication skills together with solid computer literacy are essential.
