A1 Certifier is an established and growing private building certification and town planning consultancy servicing builders, developers, designers and property owners throughout Brisbane, Redlands and South-East Queensland.

We are seeking an experienced Level 1, 2 or 3 Building Certifier (minimum 3 years' experience) who values professional independence, technical excellence and delivering outstanding service to clients.

About the Role

You will be responsible for:
Assessing and certifying a range of building projects
Conducting site inspections and compliance assessments
Reviewing plans and documentation against relevant legislation and standards
Providing advice to builders, designers, consultants and property owners
Managing projects through the certification process from application to completion
Working collaboratively with our administration and town planning teams

This role offers a balance of office-based assessment work and inspections throughout South-East Queensland.

What We're Looking For

To be successful in this role, you will have:
Current QBCC Building Certifier accreditation (Level 3 minimum)
Strong knowledge of the NCC,



Building Act, Building Regulation, QDC and relevant Australian Standards
Experience assessing Class 1 and 10 projects
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Sound professional judgement and attention to detail
Current Queensland Driver License
Ability work in a high pace and busy office
Excellent Time management skills
A desire to maintain a high level of customer service and uphold our mission statement.
