Advent Security is seeking reliable and skilled Security Officers to join our team at a busy shopping centre in Dubbo.

The successful applicants will provide a visible security presence, assist customers and tenants, respond to incidents, and help maintain a secure and welcoming workplace.

Key Responsibilities
Conduct regular foot patrols throughout the centre and surrounding areas
Respond to alarms and incidents
Assist customers, tenants and centre management
Manage antisocial behaviour and de-escalate situations professionally
Respond to emergencies and liaise with police and emergency services when required
Complete clear and accurate incident reports and daily activity logs
Monitor contractors, deliveries and access to restricted areas
Maintain a professional and approachable presence at all times

Essential Requirements




Current NSW Security Licence
Current First Aid.
Strong communication and customer service skills
Confidence dealing with conflict and difficult situations
Good written English and report-writing skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Availability to work a rotating roster, including weekdays, weekends and public holidays
Full Australian working rights

Previous shopping centre, retail or customer-facing security experience will be highly regarded.
