This is a hands-on role working alongside experienced crews on pipe rehabilitation and civil projects throughout Victoria and occasionally interstate. No two projects are exactly the same.
Key responsibilities
Setting up and packing down job sites
General labouring and manual handling
Helping operators with specialised pipe relining equipment
Using hand and power tools
Preparing equipment and materials
Assisting with excavation and minor civil works
Cleaning and maintaining equipment
Learning to operate specialised machinery as your experience grows
Working as part of a crew to get the job completed safely and properly
About you
Be reliable and turn up when you say you will
Be physically capable of hands-on work
Have a good attitude and be willing to learn
Work well as part of a team
Be comfortable working outdoors
Be prepared to work overtime when required
Be willing to travel and occasionally work away from home
Hold a current driver's licence
Hold, or be willing to obtain, a Construction White Card
