Qualified Gardener | Prestigious CBD Sites | $35+ per hour + Commuter Vehicle

OnSite Recruitment is currently recruiting on behalf of our industry-leading client for an enviable opportunity for an experienced Qualified Gardener to work across some of Melbourne CBD’s most high-profile and prestigious sites, including entertainment, art and sporting venues .

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled gardener who takes pride in their work and enjoys working in high-profile public environments.

The Role

You will be responsible for the day-to-day horticultural presentation and maintenance of prestigious CBD sites, supported by an offsider who will work alongside you.

Duties will include:
Weeding, pruning and mulching
Hedging and general garden maintenance
Planting and garden rejuvenation
Chemical spraying and weed control
General horticultural duties
Maintaining gardens and landscaped areas to a high standard
Liaising professionally with clients, visitors and members of the public
Supervising and working alongside your offsider

About You

To be successful, you will have:
Certificate III in Horticulture – essential
Current ChemCert – essential




Previous experience in a similar gardening/horticultural role
Excellent communication and presentation skills
The ability to confidently liaise with clients and members of the public
A skilled, well-spoken and approachable manner
Strong horticultural knowledge and attention to detail
The ability to work independently and as part of a small team
Pride in maintaining high-profile sites to an exceptional standard
