Qualified Diesel Mechanic – Workshop & Field Service

JV Hire Group, working alongside JV Mechanical, is a small, agile business servicing trucks, trailers, buses, and earthmoving machinery across Melbourne. Due to continued growth, we are seeking a Qualified Diesel Mechanic to join our team in a full time role, based in both our workshop and field service.

About the Role
Carry out servicing, diagnostics, and repairs on a wide range of heavy vehicles and machinery
Workshop-based and field service work across Melbourne
Work independently and as part of a close-knit team
Complete job documentation accurately and on time
Maintain high standards of safety and workmanship

About You

Qualifications
Certificate III in Heavy Vehicle Mechanics or equivalent
Minimum 2 years’ post-trade experience
Current driver’s license
HR/HC license (advantageous but not essential)
White card (MUST HAVE)

Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
Basic electrical diagnostics and wiring knowledge
Reliable, motivated, and eager to learn
Good communication skills
Comfortable using tablets and basic computer systems
Willing to take on leadership responsibilities as required
Takes pride in quality work and a clean, safe workplace
