About the role

We are seeking enthusiastic, reliable and hardworking individuals to join our team at the iconic Airlie Beach Lagoon for the summer season 2026/27. Two positions are available: Qualified Pool Lifeguards and Maintenance Attendants.

Key responsibilities

Pool Lifeguards:
Pool lifeguard duties at Airlie Beach Lagoon

Maintenance Attendants:
Daily in-water manual vacuuming and scooping
General pool cleaning
Basic water testing and maintenance tasks

About you

Pool Lifeguards must have:
Current Pool Lifeguard qualification
Current First Aid certificate
Current CPR certificate
Current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check)

Maintenance Attendants must have:
Competent swimming ability
Willingness to undertake physically demanding duties
Previous aquatic maintenance experience is desirable but not essential





All applicants:
Broad availability across a seven-day roster
Available for the ENTIRE summer season, including weekdays, weekends, public holidays, Christmas Day, and the Christmas and Current Year period
Reliable, motivated team players
Solid work ethic and a positive attitude
Commitment to safety, cleanliness and customer service
Ability to work in a busy outdoor aquatic workplace
