PPT shift days and times: Monday to Sunday 6.30 am to 2.30 pm & 2.30pm to 7.30pm

Pay rate - $33.20 per hour + superannuation

As a member of the Catering team at Jemalong, Forbes, you will be preparing high quality food and providing a outstanding dining service to our residents to ensure a high quality of life.

n

About the Role:

n

n
Providing resident meal service including assisting with meal preparation, providing a quality dining service and assisting residents as required
n
Supporting your peers and maintaining a cooperative team spirit
n
Working in a protected manner to protect yourself, your colleagues and residents, closely following all policies and procedures
n

n

To be successful in this role you'll need

n

n




A heart and passion for providing high quality care to the elderly
n
Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
n
Certificate III in Hospitality (Commercial Cookery) - desirable but not essential
n
Good understanding of food safety practices, kitchen cleanliness and hygiene
n
Warm and empathetic interpersonal skills with experience interacting with a wide range of people
n
Able to establish and maintain professional and appropriate relationships with residents and their families
n
NDIS and Police check clearance or willing to obtain
n
