Job Description

Barnett's Bakery is a long-established family business in Crescent Head, serving locals and visitors for over 30 years. We are looking for a reliable, hands-on team member to join the shop team and help keep service, presentation and workflow running strongly through busy periods and school holidays.

This is not a coffee-only role. We need someone who is happy to work across the whole shop and take initiative where needed.

What the role involves:

n

Making coffee and cold drinks to a high standard
n
Serving customers and handling tills
n
Setting up cakes, pies, sourdough and display areas
n
Clearing and wiping tables
n
Washing up, cleaning and general shop duties
n
Helping keep the customer area clean, presentable and running smoothly
n
Working as part of a fast-paced team and stepping into whichever task is needed
n

Reliable and punctual

Solid customer service and communication
n
Happy to work across all areas of the shop
n
Able to use initiative and keep moving during quieter periods
n
Comfortable working in a busy environment
n
Barista experience is preferred, but training can be provided for the right person
n
Availability during school holidays and weekends is highly regarded
n
