We are looking for an experienced, confident Sales Rep/Consultant to join our showroom team. This is a genuine sales role.

Requirements

Minimum 5 years' demonstrated sales experience
n
A proven ability to actively sell-not simply serve customers
n
Robust questioning, listening and needs-analysis skills
n
Confidence recommending products and asking for the sale
n
Experience following up enquiries and quotes
n
The ability to build rapport and develop long-term customer relationships
n
Solid communication and organisational skills
n
Confidence working independently and taking ownership of customers from enquiry through to sale
n

The Role

Proactively engage customers entering the showroom
n
Understand their project, needs, budget and timeframe
n




Guide customers through product options and selections
n
Recommend complementary products and complete solutions
n
Prepare and follow up quotes
n
Convert enquiries into sales
n
Maintain relationships with customers, builders and trades
n
Follow sales opportunities through rather than waiting for customers to return
n
Work closely with our showroom, operations and warehouse team
n
