Job Description

We are seeking a reliable Storeperson to join our team. This role suits someone who is confident working independently, takes pride in accuracy, and understands the operational requirements of a busy warehouse setting.

Customer service is a requirement of the role including deliveries from time to time.

n

As a Storeperson, you will perform a wide range of warehousing duties requiring sound judgement, problem-solving skills, and the ability to coordinate workflow with minimal supervision.

n

A forklift licence will be considered advantageous for this role.

n

This position requires the ability to perform heavy lifting as part of daily warehouse operations.

n

Employees must be able to lift up to 40kg as part of their regular duties.

n

Training will be provided on warehouse management systems for successful candidates.

Key Responsibilities

n

n
Receive, check, and process incoming goods
n
Mixing, decanting and labelling of various chemical products
n
Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders accurately
n
Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment (where licensed)
n
Maintain stock levels, conduct cycle counts, and assist with inventory control
n




Liaise with drivers, suppliers, and internal teams
n
Ensure warehouse areas are clean, protected, and compliant with WHS requirements
n
Use warehouse systems for data entry, stock movement, and documentation
n
Assist with dispatch, freight coordination, and load management
n
Identify and report stock discrepancies or operational issues
n
Support continuous improvement initiatives within the warehouse
n

Skills & Experience

n

n
Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment desired
n
Ability to work independently and follow established procedures
n
Robust attention to detail and accuracy
n
Good communication and teamwork skills
n
Basic computer literacy (inventory systems, scanning equipment, etc.)
n
Current forklift licence (highly regarded but not essential)
n
Physically fit and able to perform manual handling tasks
n
