The Avenues Group currently operates 16 high quality early learning centres across Brisbane, providing education and care for over 1500 children each day. We have created a holistic Montessori curriculum and environment during the year with a group of inspiring and knowledgeable Educators.

Salary

Generous Annual Salary: $80,000 - $83,000

Role Overview

n

We are seeking a qualified Lead Educator who ideally has experience working in a Montessori setting.



As well as that, the applicant should be open to learning about the Montessori Philosophy and undergo training during their probation months.

Duties

Build positive and caring relationships with the children and their families
n
Apply your pedagogical knowledge and expertise to ensure the individual needs of all children are met
n
Plan an outstanding educational program for our children
n
Comply with the relevant government regulations
n
Create a supportive, stimulating and secure learning environment for the children
n

n

Skills & requirements

n

n
Hold a minimum of a Diploma in Children's Services
n
Lead Educator experience preferred
n
A current and valid
n
Working with Children's Check (Blue Card)
n
A current Senior First Aid, CPR & Asthma and Anaphylaxis training
n
A positive understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)
n
A moderate to high level of computer skills in able to use our online programing software
n

The ability to work any shift between operations hours of 7am - 6pm Monday to Friday.
