Reporting to the Line Manager you will work in a team workplace and play a vital role to ensure that a high standard of quality work is achieved on time, consistently and efficiently.

Key responsibilities
n

Installation of pipe and hose assemblies, fittings and valves
n
Installation of appliances (e.g. heater units, cooktops and generators etc.)
n
n
Gas testing and signing off
n
n
Test pipes for leakages using water and air pressure gauges
n
Connection end testing of water pipes
n
Train production staff in correct techniques and standards of installation
n
Ensure task and work instructions are up to date and accurate
n
Ensuring the quality and integrity of a safe gas installation is achieved and completed
n
Adherence to the ADR (Australian Design Rules)
n
Adhere to WH&S; standards at all times
n

About you
n
n
Certificate IV in Plumbing
n
Minimum of 3+ years experience as a qualified Plumber
n
Holding a valid Gas Testing Ticket is essential
n
Strong mentoring skills would be highly regarded
n
Ability to use a range of hand / power tools
n
Quality focused with high work ethic
n
Ability to time manage and work off a schedule
n
Enjoys practical and physical work
n
Enjoys work in a fast-paced environment
n
A strong team player
n
Work in a excellent productive team workplace
n
