Tokyo Doll is a Japanese-inspired restaurant in Byron Bay. Our kitchen delivers a Japanese-influenced menu with a focus on quality, consistency and attention to detail.

The Position

n

We are seeking an experienced Cook / Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team on a full time basis. The successful candidate will work across the menu, supporting both preparation and service, and will contribute to maintaining the high standards expected of the restaurant.

Key Responsibilities

Preparing and cooking menu items in accordance with recipes and presentation standards
n
Maintaining food safety,



hygiene and cleanliness in line with regulatory requirements
n
Assisting with stock control, rotation and ordering
n
Contributing to the development of specials and seasonal menu items
n

n

Skills and Experience

n

n
A minimum of 3 years' experience in a commercial kitchen
n
Experience in Japanese or Asian cuisine is highly regarded
n
Sushi training and solid knife skills will be highly regarded
n
Availability to work evenings and weekends
n
The ability to perform effectively in a busy, fast-paced environment
n
