Job Description

We are currently seeking casual Support Assistants to assist clients in maintaining their independence while living in their homes for as long as possible.

As a Support Assistant you will assist our clients by helping them with everyday activities such as (but not limited to):

n

n
Support and assistance with personal care
n
Household cleaning and laundry
n
Assistance with shopping and welfare checks
n
Social Support Group
n

n

What we are looking for in you

n

n
Certificate III in Individual Support or qualifications and experience in a similar role
n
Current National Police check
n
Current Provide First Aid and CPR Certificates
n
A caring and empathetic nature
n
You want to make a difference in your community
n

n

The following criteria would be highly desirable:

Basic Administration Skills
n
NDIS Worker Screening
n




NDIS Worker Orientation Module
n
Own roadworthy, well maintained and tidy vehicle, available for use in day to day duties if a Bland Community Care Service vehicle in unavailable
n
