Robotic Router Operator & Plastic Welder

Global Rotomoulding is looking for a Production Operator for our Irymple site. You'll operate our robotic router and carry out plastic welding and finishing to complete our tanks and poly products. It's a hands-on role that suits someone practical and mechanically minded who takes pride in getting things right. This is done under our confined space procedures, and full confined space training is provided.

Key responsibilities

n

Operating and monitoring our robotic router to cut, drill and finish rotationally moulded products

n

Setting up products and making sure programs and specifications are followed

n

Checking measurements and finished work, and catching issues before products move to the next stage

n

Plastic welding, repairs and finishing on tanks and other poly products

n

Reading drawings and job instructions, and completing quality checks and production records

n

Using hand and power tools safely

n





Keeping your work area clean and organised, and helping with general production duties

n

About you

n

Strong attention to detail. Accuracy matters more than speed in this role.

n

Comfort working with machinery, tools and computer-controlled equipment

n

A practical, methodical approach with valuable problem-solving skills

n

Ability to follow drawings, measurements and detailed instructions

n

Comfort working in enclosed spaces and a robust commitment to safety procedures

n

A reliable, positive attitude, and the ability to work independently and in a team

n

Ability to comfortably get in and out through tank access openings of 400mm

n

5-day week with an early Friday finish (12 noon)
