Warragul | Part time | Hybrid 9:00am to 3:00pm, 4 days per week

Disability Connect Australia is seeking an experienced People & Culture Advisor to provide practical HR support and workforce compliance oversight across our organisation.

n

This is a hands-on role supporting managers and leaders across recruitment, onboarding, employee compliance, HR policy, return-to-work and workforce risk.

About the role

n

Key responsibilities include:

n

n
Providing practical HR advice and guidance to managers
n
Supporting recruitment, onboarding and workforce compliance
n
Monitoring employee screening, credentials and mandatory requirements
n
Supporting return-to-work and WorkCover processes
n
Providing guidance on HR policies, SCHADS and employment requirements
n




Maintaining accurate and audit-ready HR documentation
n
Identifying and escalating workforce risks where required
n
Working closely with operational, recruitment, quality and compliance teams
n

About you

n

You will ideally have:

n

n
Experience in HR, People & Culture or a similar advisory role
n
Knowledge of Fair Work, SCHADS and workforce compliance
n
Experience with recruitment, onboarding and employee documentation
n
Solid communication, organisation and judgement
n
A relevant qualification in HR, Business, Industrial Relations or equivalent experience
n

n

Experience within the NDIS, disability or community services sector will be highly regarded.
