Job Description

Permanent role with a well-known national forklift and access equipment specialist, working across the Cairns metro area on a mix of contemporary and well-established machinery.

Mon-Fri with about 8 hour days (some flexibility)
n
Field service vehicle, laptop, phone and tooling supplied
n
Mostly field-based, servicing local clients
n
Upskilling on a range of forklift and access equipment
n

The Duties

n

Hands-on service and repair work across a mixed fleet, with the occasional day in the workshop.

n

Scheduled servicing and PM work
n
Component change-outs and equipment upgrades
n
Breakdowns, fault finding and diagnostics
n
Hydraulic and electrical repairs
n
Warranty work and job documentation
n
Occasional workshop shifts
n

What You'll Need

n

A solid trade background with the confidence to work independently out in the field.

n

n




Trade qualified in LV or HD mechanics
n
Forklift/access equipment experience a bonus
n
Solid mechanical knowledge, some hydraulics/electrical
n
Comfortable working solo and problem-solving
n
Physically fit for hands-on field work
n
