Salt Bar in Kingscliff, NSW is one of the region's most sought-after venues for functions and events. We're looking for an experienced Functions & Events Operations Manager to lead the end-to-end delivery of every event held at this iconic beachside location.

n

This role combines planning, operations and leadership to ensure every event is delivered to the highest standard while achieving financial targets and exceptional guest experiences.

n

The successful candidate will oversee the entire customer journey - from initial enquiry through to post-event follow-up - while managing a high-performing events team, controlling labour and stock costs, maintaining venue presentation, and ensuring smooth operational delivery.

Manage the full functions and events process, from enquiry to post-event follow-up
n
Lead, train and develop a high-performing events team
n
Control labour and stock costs to meet financial targets
n
Maintain venue presentation and operational standards
n
Build robust relationships with clients to drive repeat business and referrals
n




Coordinate with kitchen, bar and venue teams to ensure seamless event delivery
n
Monitor event performance and identify opportunities for improvement
n

About the Candidate

n

n
Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar functions and events role
n
Strong leadership, organisational and communication skills
n
Proven ability to manage budgets, labour and stock costs
n
A genuine passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences
n
Ability to work flexible hours including weekends, evenings and event days as required
n
