Casual – Adaptable 12–20 hours per week, including Saturday mornings

The Jean House & Gooley's Workwear & Embroidery is looking for a reliable, well-presented person with solid sales skills to join our retail team in Lismore.

n

We offer flexible weekday hours, however regular Saturday morning availability is essential.

n

We sell a mix of quality workwear, footwear, country and lifestyle brands, along with embroidery and digital print services. Our store is a blend of fashion and function, with a robust focus on personal service.

About the role

n

This is a sales-focused role, helping customers find what they need and taking the time to recommend the right products.

n

Your day-to-day duties will include:

n

Serving customers and providing personalised service
n
Understanding what customers are looking for and recommending suitable products
n
Confidently selling clothing, footwear and workwear
n
Processing sales through the POS system
n




Restocking and keeping the store tidy and well presented
n
Receiving and unpacking stock
n
Assisting with embroidery enquiries
n

Has strong sales skills and genuinely enjoys selling

Is confident talking to customers and asking questions
n
Can listen to what a customer wants and recommend the right product
n
Is friendly, approachable and well presented
n
Is reliable, punctual and happy to get involved
n
Is comfortable working independently and as part of a team
n
Is willing to help when the business is busy or staff are away
n

The position is 12–20 hours per week, with flexibility around weekday hours.

n

Saturday mornings are a must, unless time off has been arranged in advance. There will also be opportunities for extra hours during busy periods and when covering staff leave.
