Due to exciting growth and a strong pipeline of projects, we're seeking local residents in Townsville, QLD and the surrounding areas to join our Drill & Blast team. SRG Global Mining Services is looking forskilled Blast Crew membersto join our long-term projects. What You'll Be Doing

n

n
Supporting drill & blast operations to meet production targets safely
n
Conducting blast hole QA checks and inspections
n
Setting up exclusion zones and signage for protected blasting
n
Loading blast holes with explosives and stemming material
n
Assisting the Shotfirer with charging and tie-in activities
n
Performing pre- and post-blast inspections
n




Following all site‐specific and statutory safety protocols
n
Operating machinery and maintaining equipment in protected condition
n

What We're Looking For

n

n
Previous open pit blast crew experience
n
C Class Manual Driver's Licence
n
QESC or willing to obtain
n
Able to pass a pre‐employment medical and drug/alcohol screen
n
Experience with electronic or Nonel initiating systems
n

n

Bonus Points For

Current QESC (QLD Explosives Security Clearance)
