About the role:

We're looking for casual Food Service Assistants for positions atEastern Health - Peter James Centre, Burwood East. Part of the Eastern Health network, Peter James Centre delivers essential Health services across metro Melbourne.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

n
Maintain a high standard of food services in accordance with Food Safety Legislation and Food Services Procedures
n
Preparation and presentation of patient meals such as salads, sandwiches and drinks
n
Cleaning and sanitizing of patient meal trays, cutlery, crockery and trolleys
n
Preparation of work stations including assembly of items and stocking of consumables
n

About you

n

n
Demonstrate a positive attitude and drive to deliver strong customer service
n
Previous experience in a hospital or aged care environment is desired
n
Current Food Safety Certificate is required
n
Flexibility to work a rotational roster; including early mornings, night shifts, weekends and public holidays
n
Police Clearance, or ability to obtain, is essential
n
Evidence of immunisation for current influenza is essential
n
