The Network are seeking an experienced Dev SecOps Engineer to join a major Federal Government program in Canberra. This is a hands‐on role focused on building, automating and securing Microsoft Azure infrastructure within a complex enterprise setting.

Location: Canberra preference - Must hold minimum NV1 clearance

Contract: 12 months x2 12 month extensions

The role suits an engineer with strong Azure Dev Ops, Terraform/IaC, Linux and cloud security experience who can work across infrastructure, application and security teams.

The Role
Design, build and maintain secure Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure and services.
Develop automated infrastructure and application deployments using Azure Dev Ops, Terraform, Bicep and/or ARM.
Implement and improve Azure security controls across RBAC, Azure Policy, Defender for Cloud and vulnerability management.




Develop reusable automation, cloud foundations and self‐service capabilities while contributing to technical leadership and knowledge transfer.

Key Skills
Robust hands‐on Microsoft Azure and Azure Dev Ops experience within complex enterprise settings.
Strong Terraform / Infrastructure as Code capability, ideally including Bicep and/or ARM templates.
Experience across Dev SecOps, CI/CD, cloud security, vulnerability management, Azure RBAC, Azure Policy and Defender for Cloud.
Demonstrated technical leadership, mentoring and experience working with architects, developers, infrastructure and security teams.
