Due to a solid, locked-in pipeline of local work, we are looking for a skilledLead Carpenter / Leading Handto become a core part of our crew.
About the Role
This is a hybrid role for a seasoned carpenter who still loves being on the tools but is ready to step up and run a site.
You will be the go-to person on-site, balancing high-end carpentry with coordinating subbies and mentoring our apprentices.
Your day-to-day will involve:
Leading from the front:Delivering precise framing, architectural timber features, lock-up, and high-end internal finishes.
Site coordination:Running daily briefings, reading plans, scheduling sub-contractors, and keeping the job moving forward.
Quality & Safety:Maintaining our strict eye for detail and ensuring the site is safe, clean, and compliant with WHS and QBCC standards.
Client contact:Acting as the qualified,



on-site face of our business for clients and inspectors.
What We Are Looking For
The Trade:Cert III in Carpentry with 1+ years of post-trade experience specifically in residential renovations, extensions, or custom builds.
The Leadership:Proven ability to manage a small crew, coordinate subbies, and solve on-site problems practically.
The Gear:A valid QLD driver's licence, White Card, and a reliable, comprehensive kit of hand and power tools.
The Attitude:Someone who takes pride in sharp finishes, communicates clearly, and wants to grow into a Site Manager role.
