Job Description
Victor Churchill is looking for an experienced and passionate wine professional to join our team and take ownership of key areas of our wine program.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to work within a high-end restaurant environment and play an important role in maintaining, developing and educating around one of the most important parts of our guest experience.
The Opportunity
Working closely with the Restaurant Manager and management team, you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operation of the wine program, including:
Managing wine stock, cellar organisation and rotation
Monitoring stock levels and coordinating replenishment
Maintaining the wine list and ensuring product information is accurate
Supporting wine ordering and supplier relationships
Organising and participating in wine tastings
Delivering wine training and education to the FOH team
Supporting the team with wine recommendations and service
Maintaining consistently high standards of wine presentation and service
Working closely with management to continue developing the wine program
About You
You will be someone who:
Has a genuine passion and strong knowledge of wine
Has previous experience in a quality restaurant,



wine bar or similar environment
Is confident with professional wine service
Is highly organised and takes ownership of responsibilities
Has excellent attention to detail
Enjoys educating and developing other team members
Has strong communication and interpersonal skills
Is professional, reliable and hands-on
Wants to continue growing within the hospitality and wine industry
You don't need to know everything — but you must be curious, passionate and willing to keep learning.
