Hibi Archive is a recent lifestyle and gift store opening in Newtown. We curate stationery, homewares, accessories, books, and everyday design objects, alongside an intimate in-store Matcha Bar. We are looking for two friendly and proactive Retail Sales Assistants to join our founding team.

Key responsibilities

/n

Provide warm, attentive customer service, product advice, and gift wrapping

/n

Process sales accurately through our POS system

/n

Maintain store presentation, cleanliness, and visual merchandising displays

/n

Assist with opening/closing, receiving deliveries, stock pricing, and basic online order packing

/n

Help operate the Matcha Bar (taking orders, preparing straightforward drinks,



and maintaining bar cleanliness)

About you

/n

Warm, approachable communicator with fluent spoken English

/n

High attention to detail with a natural flair for keeping spaces tidy and organized

/n

Genuine interest in design, stationery, homewares, and lifestyle products

/n

Reliable, self-motivated, and comfortable working in a small retail setting

/n

Flexibility to work across weekdays and weekends (previous retail or café experience is a plus)
