Key responsibilities /n

You will also play an key role in providing operational guidance, supervising and mentoring junior lawyers, and contributing to the capability of the broader legal team.

/n
As a Lawyer, you will work across routine to moderately complex legal matters, providing practical advice and supporting the Department’s commercial, procurement, contract management and corporate activities.

/n
You will draft and negotiate contracts, support commercial transactions, assist with identifying and managing legal risks, and undertake legal research.

/n
You will also work closely with senior lawyers, gaining valuable exposure to more complex matters and opportunities to develop your legal expertise.

You will be comfortable working with stakeholders, managing competing priorities and applying sound legal judgement to achieve outcomes that support the Department’s objectives.

This role is based at 246 Vincent St Leederville.

We are looking for lawyers who are practical, cooperative and solutions-focused, with solid communication and legal drafting skills.
