Job Description
Your Opportunity
As aBusiness Analyst – Payments, you'll play a critical role in delivering complex payments solutions across Cards and real-time payments.
You'll work closely with product, technology and client teams to define requirements, drive discovery and translate business needs into actionable outcomes that deliver value to our clients and their customers.
You'll make an impact by:
Translating requirements into clear user stories with acceptance criteria
Producing high-quality artefacts including process maps, gap and impact analysis
Supporting delivery teams through refinement and solution design
Driving data validation, reconciliation and migration activities
Partnering with stakeholders across product, engineering and external clients
Qualifications
About you:
You're an experienced Business Analyst with deep payments expertise and the ability to navigate complex, enterprise environments.
Must have experience:
Strong experience incards switch processing




Hands-on knowledge ofAS**** / ISO**** messaging
Experience setting updebit, credit and prepaid card products
Solid understanding ofdual message processing
Knowledge ofcard schemes (Visa, Mastercard, eftpos)and scheme compliance
Experience withNew Payments Platform (NPP)
Understanding ofPayID, PayTo, CoP and PACs messaging
Familiarity withSWIFT messaging standards
Key capabilities:
Expert inrequirements gathering and documentation
Robust experience inprocess mapping, gap analysis and technical specifications
Ability to lead workshops and drive stakeholder alignment
Proven experience working withtechnical teams in agile environments
Strongdata analysis skills, including SQL and Oracle
Nice to have:
Exposure todigital wallets and tokenisation
Experience withfinancial crime / fraud systemsin Cards or NPP
