Mile End Bagels is on the hunt for a Dispatch Team Member (our behind-the-scenes legend) to join our team.

/n

Our dispatch role keeps our business running smoothly every single day. Your work ensures our freshly baked bagels reach our four cafes safely + on time, and that our cafes are fully stocked and ready to have a outstanding day!

We are offering a casual position , with potential to grow into a permanent one for the right candidate

About the role; /n

/n
Dispatch – Packing, loading, and delivering daily orders from our central bakery+kitchen (Fitzroy) to our four store locations in our company van.

/n
Stock – Understanding FIFO (first in first out), conducting regular stocktakes, and monitoring inventory levels.

/n
Maintenance – Organising our storage facility, keeping stock areas tidy and productive,



and performing daily cleaning + maintenance tasks.

/n
Communication – Coordinating with cafe, bakery + kitchen managers to ensure everything flows seamlessly.

About You; /n

You’ll be a outstanding fit if you are:

Reliable and punctual – you understand that logistics is about timing.

/n
Physically capable – confident lifting, loading, and moving stock.

/n
Licensed to drive – a valid driver’s licence is a must.

/n
Clear communicator – able to coordinate with multiple people and teams.

/n

Availability; /n

/n
Morning shifts: Mon-Thurs 5:30am: 12:30pm / Fri-Sun: 6:30am-1:00pm

/n
Afternoon/evening shifts: Fri-Sat: 3:30pm-8:00pm.

/n

Weekend availability will be prioritised! /n
