McArthur is seeking an experienced and organised Chef for a short-term casual assignment within an early learning service.

/n

You will prepare fresh, nutritious meals onsite for children throughout the day, following an established menu that accommodates allergies and dietary requirements.

The role will involve: /n

/n
Preparing breakfast, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and a late snack

/n
Cooking meals from scratch using an established menu

/n
Catering safely for allergies and dietary requirements

/n
Completing orders through Woolworths twice weekly

/n
Maintaining a clean, organised and food-protected kitchen

/n
Managing food preparation and service within required timeframes

/n
Working collaboratively with the centre team

/n

About you: /n

/n




Certificate III in Commercial Cookery

/n
Previous experience as a Chef or Cook

/n
Robust food safety, hygiene and allergen-management knowledge

/n
Excellent organisation and time-management skills

/n
A current Blue Card, or willingness to obtain one

/n
Early learning or education‑sector experience will be highly regarded

/n

/n

The role offers, consistent weekday hours with no evening work, and a three-day handover with the current Chef.

/n
