For 25 years, Shepherd's Artisan Bakehouse has been synonymous with producing and supplying a broad range of beautiful artisan baked products. We are a HACCP accredited business, driven to maintain the highest possible standard of quality, safety and food hygiene.

THE ROLE /n

Reporting to the Quality Assurance Manager, you will work as part of the team to ensure a high level of cleanliness is maintained throughout the site, in accord with stringent quality and food safety standards.

Responsibilities include: /n

To ensure that a high level of cleanliness is maintained on a daily basis.

/n
Cleaning all surfaces, fixtures and fittings.

/n
Cleaning floors, walls on a large scale.

/n
Cleaning lunchrooms, toilets and hand wash basins.

/n
Maintain paper towels, hand sanitizers and soaps around the bakery,

/n
Following the cleaning schedule and make continuous improvement for the business.

/n
Cleaning and maintaining waste bins.

/n




Prepare and operate routine equipment/resources/materials as set out in instructions, and ensure cleanliness of equipment, check for quality and safety, and report any faults to the relevant officer.

Secure handling of chemicals.

/n

To be successful in this role you will need: /n

The person must be fit and healthy, have valuable attention to detail.

Reliable, trustworthy and ability to react to changes.

/n
Work collaboratively within the team

/n
Solid knowledge of workplace and food safety (HACCP) in a similar environment is an advantage.

/n

The role is afternoon / night shift, Monday to Friday.

/n
