Pacific Rail Engineering – Chipping Norton NSW
To undertake maintenance overhauls and modifications to air brake systems and/or wagon bogies and structures on Railway Rollingstock.
Key responsibilities
Undertake and complete repairs to the standards as required
Complete documented reports to meet Quality Control requirements
Complete daily timesheets for work completed
Undertake processes in a safe & timely manner, complying with company WHS policies
Maintain a clean and tidy appearance at all times subject to working environment
Review SWMS used and where appropriate recommend changes that improve the processes
Assist with other duties as required from time to time
About you




Hold a Trade Qualification inFitting/Fabricating/Weldingor Qualified Rollingstock Maintainer
A Construction Induction Card or White Card
Have a valuable understanding of WH&S; in the workplace
Trade Qualified or at least 5 years' experience
Experience with maintenance & testing of Railway Rollingstock Brake Systems or Pneumatic Equipment
Strong interpersonal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple competing priorities
Drivers licence
Be able to read & interpret technical drawings
RIW Card and Pegasus Card qualifications preferred
