We are currently in search of a full time DFV and Community Services Manager, who is a key part of our Senior Leadership Team.
TheDFVand Community ServicesManager is responsible for the strategic and operationalleadership of Plus Community's Domestic and Family Violence service portfolio,including the Women's Domestic Violence Court Advocacy Service (WDVCAS),Staying Home Leaving Violence (SHLV), Men's Behaviour Change Programs (MBCP),prevention initiatives, and other specialist DFV programs.
Therole is responsible for leading high-performing, client-focused teams thatdeliver safe, trauma-informed and evidence-based services to individuals,families and communities impacted by domestic and family violence.
The positiondrives service excellence, workforce capability, quality and compliance,stakeholder engagement, service integration, and continuous improvement acrossthe DFV portfolio.
Workingcollaboratively with the Executive Team and other Housing Plus Service streams,



the DFVand Community Services Managerensures consistent servicestandards, supports organisational growth and innovation, strengthens communitypartnerships, and contributes to the achievement of Plus Community's Vision,Purpose, Values and Strategic Plan.
This is a full time, permanent role, and can be based from any of our office locations, including Orange, Bathurst, Dubbo, or Mudgee.
You will also be responsible for the WHS requirements of the staff in your area, including the management of psychosocial and physical safety.
Our ideal candidate will model the values of our organisation and lead by example.
In addition, ideally you will have:
Demonstrated skills and experience in the Domestic Violence and SocialServices sector.
Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the dynamics, complexitiesand legal and social welfare consequences of domestic and family violence
Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the criminal justice responseto domestic and family violence including ADVO applications, criminalprosecutions and related legal matters such as family law, care and protection,migration and victim's compensation issues
Excellent organisational, administrative, financial and managementskills;
Well-developed leadership skills and ability to manage, lead and train adiverse team of staff with a reputation for building positive, collaborativeand motivated teams;




Ability to develop and implement service delivery strategies aimed atensuring the relevance, accessibility and responsiveness of services to adiverse range of women and children;
Ability to analyse quantitative data and qualitative data to improveservice delivery;
Experience in building and maintaining constructive working relationshipswith key stakeholders and excellent networking skills;
Excellent communication skills, particularly in management, negotiation,advocacy and conflict resolution;
High degree of drive, initiative, motivation and outcome orientation,with the capacity to deal with multiple and often conflicting priorities
Experience working with vulnerable client groups, an understanding of the needs of people on low incomes, and a desire to make a difference in our community will be highly regarded.
You will also need a current drivers licence, flexibility to travel to other sites and work across multiple locations, ability to obtain a Police Check, Working With Children Check and NDIS workers check.
