Complete Precise Manufacturing (CPM), part of The Davey Group, is a Queensland-based fabrication business delivering high-quality, supply-only metal components for industrial and infrastructure applications.
Operating from its Gympie workshop, CPM manages fabrication, welding, quality assurance, painting coordination and delivery through an in-house, workshop-first model focused on practical execution, dependable quality and efficient turnaround.
We are looking for an organised and proactive Operations Support Officer to help keep CPM's Gympie site running smoothly.
This is a broad operational role supports our workshop and operations team across the full life of every job.
The Role
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will play a central role across purchasing, logistics, project scheduling, stock control, and document control, while also taking responsibility for safety administration and supporting CPM's ISO **** (Quality), ISO ***** (WHS), and ISO ***** (Environment) certification requirements.
Key responsibilities include:
Raising and processing purchase orders for materials, consumables, subcontract services, plant hire and freight
Sourcing pricing, availability and lead times from suppliers, and following up orders to ensure on-time delivery
Coordinating logistics, deliveries and collections using the internal scheduling tools
Maintaining visibility over key project dates, including material due dates, fabrication completion, surface treatment and delivery
Supporting project coordination across Operations, Production, and workshop personnel, including notifying the Shed when jobs are ready to commence
Supporting stock control and inventory accuracy for materials and consumables
Creating and maintaining Workguru projects, job cards and paint cards
Maintaining purchasing,



delivery and supplier records to support audit readiness and document control
Administering safety systems and documentation, including pre-start records, incident and hazard reporting, and safety registers
Supporting administration of CPM's ISO **** (Quality), ISO ***** (WHS) and ISO ***** (Environment) certifications, including maintaining the calibration register, SDS register and other compliance documentation
Contributing to continuous improvement across purchasing, safety, quality and operational workflows
What We're Looking For
Demonstrated experience in an operations, purchasing, administration, logistics or project support role
Experience with, or strong willingness to learn, safety andquality/environmentalmanagement system administration (ISO ****, ***** and/or *****)
Robust organisational, administrative and follow-up skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines and stakeholder commitments
Strong communication skills, with confidence liaising across suppliers, workshop teams and management
High level of accuracy, attention to detail and commercial awareness
Competent Microsoft Office and general business systems capability
Experience in fabrication, manufacturing, engineering or industrial environments is highly regarded
Experience using Workguru, ERP, purchasing or inventory systems is an advantage
