Orthopaedic Surgery Registrar / RACS Partially Comparable
Position
Full time position as an Orthopaedic PHO/Registrar
You will deliver medical care under senior supervision, adhering to professional standards and responsibilities.
Duties include patient assessments, daily reviews, coordination of investigations and treatment, and support for procedures and outpatient clinics.
The role requires accurate, timely clinical documentation and proficiency with medical systems.
Support staff, supervise and teach junior doctors, contribute to teaching and clinical meetings, participate in after-hours rosters, and maintain ongoing professional development.
Hospital
A major regional hospital, recently redeveloped with state-of-the-art facilities, continues to expand through one of Queensland's largest health projects.
Upgrades have included additional beds, enhanced rehabilitation services, a 24-hour emergency department, a new maternity unit, and a special care nursery.
The ongoing redevelopment will deliver more beds and operating rooms, current medical and surgical wards,



and expanded healthcare services.

Requirements
AHPRA Registered/ Eligible
Orthopaedic Registrars/ Trainees
IMGs with relevant Orthopaedic experience
Specialists who have been assessed by RACS as partially/substantially comaprable
