About the position
Our client is looking for aCardiac Sonographer Team Leadto join our clients' team and take ownership of the day-to-day leadership of cardiac sonography services across7 sites, with same-day site movement required at times.
This is ahands-on leadership role—you'll continue performing clinical cardiac testing while leading workforce planning, quality assurance, training and capability uplift.
As part of the clinical services leadership group, you'll work closely with operational and clinical stakeholders to ensure a consistent, high-quality service across all locations.
Working hours:Service hours run7:00am-7:00pm, with typical start times7:00am-9:00amand finish times3:00pm-6:00pm.
Typical caseload:8-10 echoes/dayincluding outpatient and inpatient studies, plus stress echoes.
Inpatient mix includesCCU, ICU, ED, post cardiac/general surgery and interventional cardiaccases.
Key Requirements
To be successful, you will have:
Tertiary qualification inCardiac Sonography
ASAR Registration
Proven capability to continue clinical duties atSenior Cardiac Sonographerlevel
Experienceleading a team(or solid readiness to step into leadership), including coaching, feedback and performance support




Strong written and verbal communication, with an ability to engage stakeholders across clinical and operational teams
A continuous-improvement mindset (QA, competency assessment, SOP/protocol adherence and optimisation)
Flexibility to work across multiple sites and support effective rostering/workforce coverage
Management or business-related tertiary qualification
Experience leading health professionals and supporting recruitment/retention initiatives
