DescriptionThe OpportunityJoin Downer's Utilities business as a Site Engineer supporting the delivery of power systems and substation projects.
Working closely with the Project Manager, Program Manager and site teams, you will provide practical engineering support, coordinate delivery activities and help keep projects aligned to safety, quality, schedule and commercial requirements.
This role offers a 10 & 4 roster and the opportunity to build your project engineering capability across design, procurement, subcontractor coordination, cost and forecast reporting, change management and on-site delivery.
You will also provide technical advice, maintain strong stakeholder relationships and contribute to continuous improvement across the project.
What we are looking for Bachelor of EngineeringAt least 2 years of relevant engineering experienceProject engineering experience, including subcontractor managementDemonstrated capability in scheduling, financial management and reportingExperience supporting change management and driving quality outcomes in project deliveryStrong organisational, time management and problem-solving skills, with attention to detailClear communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships with internal teams, clients, suppliers and subcontractorsCommitment to Zero Harm and working within safety, quality and environmental systems.
