Roster: 7:7 (Local) or 14:14 (FIFO)

About the Role
n
Macmahon Underground is returning to New Zealand and seeking experienced Bogger Operators to join the Snowy River Gold Mine Project near Reefton on New Zealand's South Island.
n
As part of this exciting prospect, Macmahon will deliver underground development, production and backfill services from October ****.
n
We are looking for safety-focused operators with proven underground mining experience operating Sandvik and CAT Load-Haul-Dump (LHD) equipment.



Successful candidates will play a key role in supporting safe and productive underground operations while contributing to our growing underground team.

Responsibilities
n
n
Safe, efficient operation of the Sandvik and CAT underground loaders.
n
Conduct regular inspection of the loader and report any damages.
n
Ensure accurate end of shift reports and other relevant documents are completed and submitted
n
Provide clear and effective communication.
n
Keep the trucks operating at full efficiency ensuring all ore, low grade, marginal and waste are kept separate.
n
Prepared to undertake other tasks and labouring duties as required.
n
Complete pre-starts and report hazards or defects immediately.
n
Follow plans, instructions and traffic management rules.
n

What You'll Bring

Minimum 12 months experience operating the Sandvik and CAT underground loaders.
n
Strong safety focus and ability to speak up.
n
A team mindset and reliable work ethic.

Commitment to contributing to a positive culture.
n
Valid Class 1 (unrestricted manual) New Zealand drivers licence (essential) with a Dangerous Goods (D) endorsement (desirable).
