Job Description
This is a practical support role working alongside the Store Manager and sales team at Aussie BBQs & Fireplaces in Murarrie. The main purpose of the role is to make sure orders, stock, deliveries, quotes and customer follow-ups are kept up to date and nothing gets overlooked. Full time role possible to the right candidate.

Key responsibilities

Checking and processing online orders
n
Monitoring outstanding customer orders and special orders
n
Checking incoming supplier deliveries against paperwork and purchase orders
n
Recording shortages, damaged or incorrect deliveries, (ability to lift heavy goods not required)
n
Ensuring received stock is correctly processed
n
Keeping track of outstanding customer quotes and reminding the sales team when follow-up is required
n
Following up staff regarding quotes, orders and collections
n
Contacting customers when goods arrive
n




Maintaining a list of goods awaiting collection
n
Assisting with delivery and collection coordination
n

Organised and methodical
n
Reliable and punctual
n
Good at following tasks through to completion
n
Comfortable using computers, email and basic retail systems
n
Confident speaking with customers and suppliers
n
Accurate with paperwork
n
Comfortable reminding team members when something still needs action
n
Able to work independently as well as part of a small team
n
Previous experience in administration, retail, customer service, order processing, purchasing or stock control would be helpful
n
Experience with retail POS/inventory systems would be advantageous but is not essential
