The firm has an established presence in the Australian market and a strong client base across developers, infrastructure funds, and institutional investors. This is a senior hire into a growing team, not a replacement role.
The focus is on someone who has been on the advisory side of infrastructure or energy financing — structuring debt raises for clients, managing lender processes on behalf of a sponsor, leading capital markets mandates, or advising on capital structure. The distinction between advisory-side and lender-side execution matters here.
What they are looking for:
VP or Director level, depending on experience
Advisory-side background in infrastructure or energy debt — capital structuring, project finance advisory, or DCM in an advisory capacity
Comfortable owning mandates in a lean, senior team workplace
Australian market knowledge useful but not essential — strong international infrastructure credentials are equally valued
Based in Sydney or genuinely open to relocating
