, an exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced
Cabinetmaker (with Wood Machining Experience)
to join our manufacturing team.
This is an important role within our operations, with responsibility for producing a range of high-quality, specialised products that are critical to our manufacturing process. The position is hands-on and wide-ranging, providing the opportunity to work across different stages of production and develop your skills across a broad range of woodworking applications.
Working within our
wood machining department
, you will work with a variety of materials, including solid timber and various board products, using a range of woodworking machinery, saws and equipment.
As a
coffin and casket manufacturer
, our production requirements can vary considerably. The ability to manufacture specialised products from raw materials, often to specific customer requirements, is an important part of this role. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their workmanship, can work independently and is confident taking on different challenges as they arise.
About You
The ideal candidate will have experience in
cabinetmaking, woodworking or a similar manufacturing environment
and be a practical, hands-on person who is comfortable working across both machining and assembly processes.
Experience with
routers, moulders, arm saws and other woodworking machinery
will be highly valued.
We are particularly interested in someone who:




Has cabinetmaking, woodworking or relevant manufacturing experience
Is confident operating woodworking machinery and saws
Has strong attention to detail and takes pride in producing quality work
Can work independently while also contributing positively to a team
Is practical, reliable and willing to take on a variety of tasks
Has the ability to read and work from measurements, specifications and customer requirements
Is keen to continue developing their skills and knowledge
A
forklift licence
would also be advantageous (yet not required).
