About the Role
n
We are looking for an experienced Production Leading Hand to join our team and play a key role in the day-to-day coordination of our production operations.
n
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will oversee daily production requirements, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards and customer deadlines.
n
The role will involve coordinating production staff, monitoring production schedules, maintaining stock and material requirements, supporting internal sales with production updates and lead times, and ensuring a high standard of housekeeping, quality and safety across the workshop and production areas.
n
You will also be responsible for supporting the training and development of production staff and ensuring equipment, tooling and production processes are properly maintained.
n
This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who enjoys working with people, solving problems and keeping production running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities
n

Direct daily, weekly, and monthly production requirements in line with customer due dates and production schedule.
n




Maintain Syteline`s production job status board where customer-requested due dates cannot be achieved and inform internal sales accordingly of any changes.
n
Liaise with the Purchasing & Inventory Coordinator to ensure all production raw material and consumable levels are maintained.
n
Promote and ensure adherence to the company's quality and safety policies within the warehouse and production areas.
n
Coordinate training of current production staff and maintain all induction and training records.
n
Ensure workshop equipment and tooling are maintained and calibrated as per pASSET service schedule and maintain records.
n
Support the internal sales team with production status updates and lead times inquiries.
n
Ensure the dress code and appearance standards are in keeping with the Convoluted Technologies image and in line with corporate policy.
n
Promote and ensure daily housekeeping is maintained within production, workshop and outdoor areas.
n
Perform other duties as assigned by the Operations Manager.

Skills
n
n
Previous production supervisory experience.
n
Sound understanding of ISO**** Quality Assurance methodology
n
Ability to mentor, motivate, and train staff members.
n
Ability to effectively communicate and coordinate with all levels of the organisation.
n
Proficiency with Syteline ERP system.
n
Proficiency with MS Office suite (Word Doc).
n
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
n
