Lead Group are seeking an experienced Estimator for a high paying role with an established national commercial builder growing its team.

This is a genuine builder traditional delivery, contracts administered in house, consistent work and a strong national pipeline. Projects span retail (including high end fit outs), hospitality, education and commercial, so no two tenders look the same. The business is entering a growth phase taking on larger, more complex projects and moving toward principal contractor work so there's real scope to grow as they do.

The role

Reporting to the estimating lead, you'll price and manage live tenders from around $200K to multi million dollar projects owning them end to end, from drawings and scope through to take offs, pricing and submission, often with several running at once.

What you'll do
n
n
Own the full estimating cycle, from drawings through to submission.
n
Manage multiple live tenders concurrently across sectors.
n
Prepare accurate take offs and detailed pricing.
n
Review drawings and specs, identifying risks, gaps and opportunities.

What you'll need
n
n
Commercial construction estimating experience (retail, fit out or current build)
n
Confidence owning hard dollar tenders end to end (not a junior role)
n
Working knowledge of Cubit (desired) or other estimating software
n
Strong time management across competing deadlines
n
A proactive, solutions focused approach
