The Chance
n Perigon Group is partnering with a well-established and growing Australian business to recruit an Assistant Accountant for their Brisbane finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated accounting professional looking to build on their existing experience and gain broader exposure across month-end accounting, reconciliations and financial reporting activities. Working within a supportive finance team, you will play a key role in the day-to-day accounting function while continuing to develop your technical accounting skills and commercial understanding.

Key Responsibilities

Preparation of month-end journals, accruals and prepayments
n
Bank reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations
n
Cost and revenue reconciliations
n
Billing and completeness checks
n
Ad hoc invoicing
n
Assistance with BAS and compliance-related activities
n
Fixed asset accounting and reconciliations
n
Supporting reporting and general accounting processes
n
n
About You
n
n




Degree qualified in Accounting, Commerce or a related discipline
n
Approximately 1-2 years' accounting experience
n
Recently completed your studies or currently working towards CA/CPA
n
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
n
Intermediate Excel skills
n
Ability to manage competing deadlines and priorities
n
