Unity Hub is a community centre in the heart of Slacks Creek, creating a space where everyone feels welcome, supported and valued. We bring people together through connection, practical help and community programs.

We're now opening a cafe onsite, serving quality coffee and light meals to the people who walk through our doors. As a brand recent cafe, the first impression we make matters.

About the role
n
We're looking for an experienced barista to run our coffee station and be one of the friendly faces of our new cafe.
n

Make consistently great coffee even when it's busy
n
Open the cafe (often independently)
n
Be a warm, memorable face for customers - welcome first-timers and get to know your regulars
n




Work with the Cafe Manager to improve the overall customer experience
n
Manage workflow and service during busy periods
n
Maintain cleanliness and ensure equipment is properly cared for
n

About you
n
n
Experience behind the machine - confident dialling in espresso, texturing milk and pouring latte art
n
A genuine people-person who enjoys chatting with customers
n
Comfortable opening up the cafe independently
n
Calm and friendly under pressure, with an eye for the small details that make a difference
n
