High-Intensity Support Worker – Overnight Shifts

About the Role
n
We are seeking compassionate, reliable and experienced Female Support Workers to provide high-intensity support to a 6-month-old female infant during overnight shifts.
n
The role involves providing attentive, secure and personalised care in a home environment. Experience with high-intensity support is highly regarded; however, full training and support will be provided to the successful applicants.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
The successful candidate will assist with:
n
n
Overnight care and monitoring
n
Oxygen administration
n
NGT (nasogastric tube) feeding
n
Oral suctioning
n
High-intensity support needs
n
Following individualised care and support plans
n
Monitoring the participant and escalating any concerns appropriately
n
Maintaining accurate progress notes and shift documentation
n
Working closely with the family and care team
n
Maintaining a safe, calm and supportive environment
n
n
About You
n
We are looking for someone who is:

Female
n
Compassionate, patient and attentive
n




Reliable and comfortable working overnight shifts
n
Comfortable working with an infant with complex/high-intensity support needs
n
Experienced in disability, nursing, paediatric or high-intensity support is desirable
n
Confident following clinical instructions and care plans
n
Able to communicate effectively with families and the wider care team
n
Professional, respectful and committed to providing high-quality care
n
n
Previous experience with oxygen administration, NGT feeding and oral suctioning is highly regarded, but not essential as training will be provided.
n
Training & Support
n
Comprehensive training will be provided to ensure successful applicants are confident and competent in the required support procedures before working independently.

Current First Aid & CPR

NDIS Worker Screening Check
n
Working with Children Check
n
Relevant
disability/healthcare
experience highly regarded
n
Availability for overnight shifts
n
Ability to follow clinical procedures and documentation requirements
n

Pay: $***** – $***** per hour
n
Expected hours: No less than 18.0 per week
